Sticking to the never warmed to and the popular , Tomkins without a doubt, always thought the bloke was a prick. PDC used to annoy me at times a bit self indulgent, mention of Boa Morte made me smile, did anyone like him?

Hutchison was similar to Nolan, in my book.
They were both kind of uninvolved in games but had the intelligence and instinct to get into good goal-scoring positions and they bagged a fair few.
Not the sort of players that I like to watch but their goals were very important.

He scored ten goals in one of those three seasons and was our penalty taker when we used to get penalties. He was a decent attacking full back but gave away lots of goals by poor discipline and defending. I make you right he did help,keep us up but in my view he was overrated by West Ham fans which is what this thread is about.

If it wasn't for Dicksy; we'd have been relegated in 94/95, 95/96 or 96/97.
You can have that one for fucking free.
He had his weaknesses, and his aggression overstepped the mark at times, but he was a fine footballer with one of the classiest left pegs that I've ever seen. He was great at heading the ball too.
If it wasn't for his 10 goals that he scored for us each season as a fucking FULL-BACK(!) then we'd have been fucked.
Tony Cottee couldn't keep us safe alone in the mid-90s.

Dicks was ill disciplined and thick. A large proportion of those marauding runs resulted in the other team breaking down the left and scoring. He played as an individual like we defended as a team under him and bilic. We were a better side when he fucked off to Liverpool.
